Message from our CEO

We have always been mentioning about “innovative thinking”. However, in reality, thoughts about tourism human resources have not been able to get out of the old-fashioned mindset, which we received from the rusty education system. Overall, those empirical thinking, advanced thinking, and visual thinking are all derived from the dogmatic and rational thinking. The diversity and movement of tourism cannot simply be perceived by dogmatic thinking. And rational thinking cannot truly view the multidimensionalism and unity of elements within the entity of tourism.

Tourism entity is assembled by 5 elements including tourism administrative offices, tourism experts, training institutes, learners, and tourism enterprises. There must be a tight-knit relationship and interdependence among these factors. For simple circumstances which involve only one element, we can easily look into the causes and then solutions based on linear thinking. Nevertheless, tourism is multidimensional and complicated; in order to adapt to it, complex thinking is required. Complex thinking comprises of non-partial and non-separated yet multidimensional and multilinear knowledge, which leads to creative thinking – a thought that opens new doors to problem solving regardless of dogmatism. In order to design a complete system, new thoughts about tourism human resources need a comprehensive view about labor demand. All multidimensional activities within the elements of tourism need to be linked and unified so as to bring out the necessary competences and qualities for the tourism manpower.

Innovative thinking is not about self purpose. The core of innovative thinking is the ability to conduct new and practical methodology; only then can innovation be created, products be invented, and competitive advantages be gained.

Tourism development is in need of a multidimensional interactive environment in order to generate value added solutions. We never stop creating for the breakthrough development of tourism in the coming years:

  • The development of Vietnam Hospitality Network (VHN)
  • The development of Hoteliers Vietnam with the ecosystem for manpower expansion
  • The development of Dental Tourism
  • The development of Culinary Tourism
